Science Pathways: Physical Science - Force & Motion Kit

Highlights:

Introduce students to core physics concepts through engaging, action-oriented physical science challenges. The Force & Motion Kit provides elementary classrooms with interactive tools to investigate push and pull forces, momentum, energy transfer, and mechanical advantage. By building dynamic pathways and operating simple mechanical models, students observe fundamental laws of motion in real-world applications.

Curriculum or Lesson Topics:

• Newtonian Physics & Energy Transfer: Hands-on exploration of kinetic energy, momentum conservation, collision outcomes, and cause-and-effect relationships.

• Simple Machines & Mechanical Advantage: Investigation of basic engineering mechanisms (such as levers, pulleys, or inclined planes) to see how work is accomplished with less effort.

• Trajectory & Gravity: Observation of object motion, speed, friction, and slope dynamics through open-ended structural building.
