Welcome to the Idaho Science Pathways Program!
Since its implementation in 2024, the Pathways Program has supported 300+ educators across Idaho. Elementary coaches collaborate with K-5 educators to integrate engaging science across content areas, utilizing inquiry through the 3D science model. Secondary coaches work with 6-12 teachers to engage learners in content-based phenomena; to think like scientists, do science, and build lasting competency in science core ideas.
The Idaho Science Pathways Program is a
state-wide program, available to all science
educators K-12 for FREE. This program is
funded by the Idaho Department of
Education. It is facilitated by Idaho Science
Coaches--a group of science specialists
funded by the IDE.
Individual Sign-up
Fewer than 4 educators per school
- Professional Development
Network with science educators during
a total of 15 hours of PD focused on
standard-aligned science instruction.
- Job-Embedded Coaching
Collaborate with your Idaho Science Coach to utilize in-classroom support monthly.
- Independent Book Study
Join an optional asynchronous book study with a network of Idaho science educators.
Teams Sign-up
4 or more educators per school
- Professional Development
Work toward science-specific team goals during 15 hours of PD connected to standard-aligned science instruction.
- Job-Embedded Coaching
Collaborate with your Idaho Science Coach to utilize in-classroom support monthly or bi-monthly (size dependent).
- Team Book Study
Collaborate with your Science Coach to select an optional book study for your team.
