Customer Success STEM Expert

As the Customer Success STEM Expert, you will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer with a dotted line to the Customer Success Team Lead. The Customer Success team works alongside the sales team to provide excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support & Order Assistance:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and HubSpot
  • Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns, and troubleshooting order issues
  • Provide exceptional service by building rapport and understanding customer needs
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure all concerns are addressed efficiently

Sales Support & Quoting:

  • Assist customers in selecting the right STEM products and services based on their needs
  • Generate and manage customer quotes using Shopify and Fishbowl
  • Guide customers through the quoting process and follow up on outstanding quotes and purchase orders
  • Support the sales team by handling administrative tasks related to customer purchases

Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Develop a deep understanding of STEMfinity’s products or services and spread passion for excellence in STEM 
  • Understand how to position STEMfinity’s Preferred products and services and One-Stop-STEM-Shop 
  • Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate with customers

Collaboration & Problem Resolution:

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues swiftly and effectively
  • Lead the team in proactively identifying and addressing common customer pain points

Continuous Improvement & Goal Achievement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning through vendor training, workshops, and industry events
  • Work with team members to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, while ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall growth of the business
