Highlights:
The Storytime Inventing Book Collection includes 36 carefully selected children’s books that connect reading with hands-on STEM exploration. Designed to be used alongside the Early Inventors STEM Lab, these books serve as the foundation for Storytime Inventing lessons, where students read, explore ideas, and then build and invent using Kid Spark engineering materials.
Books arrive organized and stored in a durable classroom container for easy access and repeated use in classroom and afterschool settings.
Note: While classrooms often use multiple Early Inventors STEM Labs to serve students in small groups, typically one book collection is sufficient per site or classroom.

Early Inventors STEM Lab
The Early Inventors STEM Lab is the hands-on component of Kid Spark’s Early Childhood STEM & Literacy Program and is designed to be used alongside the Storytime Inventing Book Collection. While the books introduce ideas and context through read-alouds, the STEM Lab gives students the materials they need to explore, build, and bring those ideas to life.
Each lab includes more than 80 durable, reusable engineering materials specifically designed for young learners. Students use these components to design, build, and problem-solve as they work through program lessons.
Labs are built to support small groups of learners and are ideal for use in classrooms and afterschool settings. The materials are durable and reusable, allowing programs to be implemented year after year without ongoing replacement costs.
