Highlights:

Launch Big Ideas with the GIANT Catapult STEM Kit!

Get ready to take your physics lessons to epic proportions with BrainStorm STEM Education’s GIANT Catapult STEM Kit—a whopping 400% bigger than our standard catapult kit! This colossal contraption is designed to help students explore the science of force, motion, and projectiles on a larger-than-life scale. Perfect for teachers who want to provide a thrilling, large-scale experiment before students tackle their own smaller projects.

Curriculum or Lesson Topics:

This kit allows your students to witness firsthand how bigger designs launch bigger projectiles—and bigger ideas! With a focus on engineering principles, gravity, and angular motion, the Giant Catapult makes learning physics fun, exciting, and massively engaging.

Standard Alignments:

Lessons are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Common Core Math, and other relevant educational frameworks.

What’s Included:

Every kit includes all necessary materials, tools, and printed instructions. Many also include digital lesson plans, student worksheets, and teacher guides with STEM connections and extension ideas.

• Mega Catapult Build: Assemble an oversized catapult capable of launching projectiles across impressive distances—watch the action unfold in real time!
• Hands-On Physics: Explore the forces behind motion, impact, and trajectory with a project big enough to spark big ideas.
• Classroom-Ready Challenges: Perfect for group activities or as a demonstration that shows how engineering principles come to life on a grand scale.

Special Notes and Considerations:

STEM Kits are built of durable materials such as Birch plywood and can be re-used.
