Unlock Student Creativity with Expert-Led Game Design Programs
STEM Forged's Game Design Program provides schools an innovative course that teaches students skills including programming, digital literacy, animation, and 3D modeling. The program also promotes problem-solving and critical thinking, fosters collaboration and communication, and introduces students to careers in game design and related fields.
Their highly-capable instructors guide students through their game design projects, providing expert support and personalized feedback.
All STEM Forged programs come with an online portal that gives educators and administrators a view of students’ progress. This portal tracks student progress, giving administrators meaningful data about student and program performance.
Activity Details:
Product Orientation: Full programs have two meeting sprior to day-one with students. First with IT to ensure that all technology is set up correctly. Then, a 30-minute orientation with site facilitators on how to join classes with their students, and how to navigate the portal.
Remote Instruction: Every full program class has a dedicated remote instructor that collaborates with your on-site facilitator to provide students with the highest-quality learning experience. These instructors connect virtually to any in-person or virtual classroom, delivering live instruction directly to students.
Each Activity Includes: A dedicated remote instructor that guides students through project-based game design lessons. All lessons include a section of time for reviewing and troubleshooting individual projects.
Student Takeaways: All students retain ownership of their video game and creations permanently, even after their account is removed from the school hub.
