Six experimental protocols lead your students through weeks of hands-on, scientifically sound experimentation demonstrating current environmental concerns. The plant science model is applicable for any biology course and readily adaptable to accommodate independent study and honors level students within the standard course of study. This kit introduces students to the scientific method, then invites them to design their own experiments as a comfortable next step after they have become familiar with the experimental model, protocols, data collection, and data analysis processes. The ideal way to introduce students to thinking like scientists and engage them in individualized science or science fair projects. Most kit components are reusable for many years. May be purchased without pH meters and digital scales for use in more complete laboratory settings, or as a complete kit including equipment.
