Explore Concepts & Careers around HELICOPTERS before building / testing one of your own!

Objective: 

Students will take on the role of aerospace engineers in STIIX-Ville, challenged to design and build a functional helicopter powered by elastic energy. Their mission is to assist the local hospital by creating a prototype that can successfully lift off and travel a short distance to simulate emergency patient transport.

Along the way, students will explore concepts such as lift, torque, energy transfer, and rotor dynamics—while racing to deliver a safe and innovative solution to STIIXVille’s urgent medical needs.
