We are very excited to announce our Saturday Pop-In events at our newest location in Boise ID. These events are all about showing what makes STEM so fun. Get hands on with some great activities, led by one of our STEM Experts. While here you can also see some of the other great products we have available. Bring the family, and be prepared for an hour of enjoyment at STEMfinity.

Girl Scouts of Silver Sage is proud to present the annual Family Wellness Expo! Girl Scouts and their families are invited to join us for a fun day participating in hands-on healthy living activities with booths and presentations.
STEMfinity will have a booth with hands-on activities and prizes, so be sure to come by and check it out!

Calling all Engineers! We're using Strawbees to learn about and build several models of simple machines, like scissor linkages and levers. Not sure what simple machines are or how exciting they will be? Learn what everyday tools are based on simple machines, and using simple machines, get your Strawbees builds MOVING! We will build scissors, grabbers, and tweezer models using Strawbees.

Build your own working hand model with cardboard, straws & strings Learn how 3-D printing is being used to print and build prosthetics and casts for hands.

Humans use tools constantly to make our lives easier, but did you know that many of our inventions and innovations were actually inspired by animals? Get inspired by some of the unique ways that animals have adapted to hunt and gather in their environments. Then take your inspiration to invent a simple machine to help you dig like a coyote or hold onto a slippery fish like an eagle or gather nuts like a chipmunk.

Get ready for some high-flying fun as you construct your own rubberband-powered paper airplane launcher. Then, design and create your very own paper airplane But the fun doesn't stop there - test your paper airplanes in exciting flight trials and find out which design can soar the highest and furthest or can do a trick!

Get ready to spread your wings and dive into the fascinating world of owls at our hands-on STEM event for kids! Join us for a hootin' good time as we unravel the mysteries of these incredible creatures. Get up close and personal with owls, learn their distinctive calls, and become an owl expert in no time. It's a feathered adventure that'll leave you wide-eyed with wonder!

Owlbert wonders if Picasso had a robot what other amazing works of art could he have created? In this Pop-In, young artists will find out by building simple doodle robots to create unique works of art!

To celebrate Earth Day, participants will develop their own green thumbs by setting up their own mini microgreen greenhouse. Then, they will build their own solar critter to run around in the sun!
