What's Included:
The Hummingbird Project Packs are the perfect launching pads to get to know the Premium Kit and quickly master building and coding skills.
Three distinct kits offer fast builds, student-friendly tutorials, and extensions for further exploration. With included curriculum, teachers need no more than 2 hours to prepare to teach coding and robotics for the first time. These hands-on experiences inspire young innovators to think creatively and dream up their next invention!
Curriculum or Lesson Topics:
Reusable parts to assemble three unique projects, one project at a time (limited by the number of Premium Kits you have).
- Catapult Pack - Design, code, and launch balls with a catapult, using servos and sensors to explore math and physics concepts.
- Rover Pack - Build, code, and explore a robotic car using motors, wheels, servos, and sensors like distance and line tracking.
- Animatronic Pack - Create an interactive character or robotic head with a pan-tilt design, using servos and sensors for light, sound, and distance.
Build and code one of the projects over 5 class sessions. Disassemble it and then start the next project, building skills and confidence as you go. Each Project Pack offers about 5 class sessions of hands-on learning.
