STEMfinity is in Atlanta this week for the 2023 YMCA General Assembly

Owlbert and the STEMfinity team are flying out to Atlanta this week for the 2023 General Assembly of YMCAs to meet nearly 3,000 site leaders, program staff, and volunteers! We are looking forward to listening to leaders that are making a difference in their community and celebrating the transformative impact that YMCA programs have across our country. The General Assembly also has some amazing guest speakers scheduled to appear including NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and award-winning journalist Lisa Ling.

Attendees will be able to find us in the Exhibit Hall where we will be showing off the latest and greatest hands-on STEM resources including robotics, 3D printing, summer camps, makerspace tools, drones, VR/AR, esports, and much more. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to be there, a recent survey of General Assembly attendees showed that over 75% of them agreed that the Exhibit Hall provided access to companies and resources that they could not obtain elsewhere. Over 1,000 YMCA sites in the United States currently have kids engaged in year-round STEM activities that inspire their creativity and enable them to succeed.
