STEM Flights Educator Resources
STEM Flights is a national nonprofit organization that connects Middle and High School students with volunteer Pilot Mentors to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Their mission is to provide access to opportunities focused on career pathways in STEM. They pair students all across the country with pilot mentors who provide students with a 1-on-1 flight experience. This gives the student an opportunity to learn how to operate the aircraft, expand on STEM & Aerospace concepts they have learned, and ask a trained professional any questions that they have about STEM careers related to Aerospace and Aviation. All with the hope of empowering them to continue on their journey in the STEM industry. This is not just for students who want to be in the Aviation industry, but all students interested in the STEM field.
