OPSPARC 2020 POSTPONED
Effective immediately, OPSPARC is postponed for the remainder of the 2020 challenge year. This was not an easy decision for the team – we had wanted to provide students, teachers, and parents with another amazing OPSPARC experience this year. Unfortunately, it is not possible to continue with the challenge in its current form.
However, this is not the end for OPSPARC. The team is working diligently to align the challenge with NASA’s new exploration direction in order to bring participants an even better experience. OPSPARC’s restructuring and realignment will reflect the agency’s new focus on exploration, as described in NASA’s Strategic Plan.
Current participants in OPSPARC 2020’s Mission Universe and Mission Solar System are being notified of these developments. We look forward to being the spark of innovation with you for future challenges. You can find updates for future challenges here on this website. Stay tuned.
