Highlights:
The AI Novus course is designed for students between the ages of 7 and 10 who are new to the field of Artificial Intelligence. The course is designed to provide students with a rich, hands-on learning experience and will cover 5 big ideas in AI. The course is delivered online and self-learning, with a total of approximately 30 lessons, each lasting approximately 1 hour.The course material is designed to be experiential, with hands-on coding activities and real-world examples to help students understand the impact AI is having and will have in various fields and industries. The course includes the use of coding tools such as Cognimates, mBlock, and the Phiro Code mobile app, as well as 5 quizzes to test students' understanding of the material.
The course culminates in a capstone project, allowing students to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge to build an AI project of their own. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a course certificate and will have access to the AIWS community for a period of one year.
