Highlights:
Explore Concepts & Careers around CATAPAULTS before building / testing one of your own!
Objective:
Students will take on the role of mechanical engineers in STIIX-Ville, tasked with designing and building a custom catapult to help defend the city from an incoming threat.
Their challenge is to create a machine that can launch a ping pong ball as far and as accurately as possible. In doing so, students will explore concepts such as force, trajectory, energy transfer, and mechanical advantage—all while competing for the title of “Top Defender of STIIX-Ville.”
