STEMfinity’s STEM 101 Professional Development is a flexible, hands-on training program designed to equip educators, afterschool providers, and program leaders with the confidence and knowledge to successfully implement the STEM tools and technologies purchased through STEMfinity. Whether in-person or virtual, each training is tailored to meet the unique goals and priorities of each school, district, or program.

Our “train-the-trainer” model ensures your team not only understands the tools they’re using, but also how to apply them through best practices that align with curriculum standards, promote student engagement, and support long-term impact. STEM 101 can be delivered as a general STEM implementation overview or as subject-specific modules based on your instructional needs.

Instructional Foundation: PBL + Bloom’s Taxonomy

STEM 101 is rooted in Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology and guided by Bloom’s Taxonomy, empowering educators to deliver engaging, real-world learning experiences that foster deep student understanding.

• Project-Based Learning: We guide educators in designing authentic, hands-on learning experiences where students apply knowledge to solve real problems, collaborate in teams, and take ownership of their learning journey.

• Bloom’s Taxonomy Integration: Participants will explore how to incorporate Bloom’s framework into STEM instruction to promote higher-order thinking skills, such as analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. We share real-world examples and creative curriculum strategies to support meaningful, inquiry-driven instruction that challenges students to think critically and reflect deeply.

Travel Expenses and Scheduling

PLEASE NOTE: The base on-site training fee of $2,995 secures your commitment to STEMfinity’s STEM 101 Professional Development session. Travel expenses are not included in the base fee. Additional costs may apply for training materials, custom STEM kits, consultation, or other workshop-specific requirements. STEMfinity requires a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice prior to the scheduled training date. Customers must provide additional information in advance regarding training dates, location, number of attendees, focus of training and more before the training can be confirmed. By purchasing the base training fee, you acknowledge that additional fees may apply based on your specific training, materials, consultation, or customization needs.
