Classical Learning, Reimagined
OptimaED brings classical education to life through innovative virtual reality and in-person learning experiences for K–12 students.
About OptimaED
Founded in Florida, OptimaED began with a vision to combine the proven strength of classical education with the possibilities of emerging technology. Initially operating brick-and-mortar classical academies, the company soon expanded into virtual learning, launching the nation’s first tuition-free virtual reality charter school in 2022. Today, OptimaED serves K–12 students through public charter schools, VR-based online academies, and independent school partnerships worldwide. As an “education experience company,” it focuses on delivering rich, immersive lessons—whether in person or in the metaverse—designed to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

OptimaED in the Classroom
OptimaED’s software solutions are built to transform classrooms into interactive, immersive learning environments. Using the ENGAGE VR platform, teachers guide students through virtual expeditions—whether walking the streets of ancient Rome, exploring the human circulatory system, or observing ecosystems up close. OptimaED's proprietary content blends classical curriculum with VR-based storytelling, allowing lessons to unfold in dynamic, 3D worlds. Through ManageXR, OptimaED seamlessly manages headsets, distributes content, and ensures a safe, distraction-free experience. This technology works equally well in fully virtual schools and physical classrooms, giving educators powerful tools to bring subjects to life while maintaining the structure and rigor of traditional learning.
