LED Array
This LED Array is a clever way to demonstrate color diffraction and the effects of colors on wavelengths. The Array is a fun and attractive way to show students the diffraction patterns of colors through use of 11 vertically mounted LED lights in different colors (violet, deep blue, blue, turquoise, bright green, green, yellow, orange, red, deep red and white) that can be switched on individually or all at once by turning a rotary switch on top of the LED array. Each color bulb has the color's name and its wavelength printed on the 12-inch metal tube. Additionally, it features an on/off switch on the back and is powered though a transformer to use with a 110 volt outlet.
